I am "officially" normal!!!

I am 57% loser. What about you? Click here to find out!

57% are cooler, and43% are more of a loser than you.
What does this mean? With this score, you are a normal individual.

i know where the link is, i just didnt take it coz i didnt know the characters, but oh well. here.

"not willing to accept everything that is handed out to her."
Hmm? As in questions things?
The verdict is in, and it says that you are EXACTLY 21.739130434783% LAZY.
Now lets just put that percent aside for a moment and evaluate what exactly your score means in a way your lazy self can comprehend:

That isn't bad. Good job, you are not a complete bum. You can give yourself a pat on the back and get back to sitting on your ass.

hmm sort answer. maybe the person who wrote the quiz was getting lazy? =p

btw, to go to the quiz i took yesterday you have to click on the picture. (that's the hyperlink)

Wednesday, January 26, 2005

The verdict is in, and it says that you are EXACTLY 39.130434782609% LAZY.
Now lets just put that percent aside for a moment and evaluate what exactly your score means in a way your lazy self can comprehend:
You are lazy. Very lazy. It is a shock that you even completed, let alone took, this quiz. Go sit down and relax. You probably need a break after all of the energy you must have put into this quiz.

The quiz is here . BTW, no matter how low you get it insults you ;P

BUT ITS TROO, I AM [MUCH MORE] LAZY LATELY. AAAH. IS IT SENIORITIS? OR AM I GETTING OLD?

OR IS IT BOTH?
by the way...lucy...did you check all the possible results and notice that sirius black is done on a completely purple background?

while i'm here...here's another quiz that i took...

how is it that my "character" personality always seem to have a high chance of turning out to be a guy?
nevermind.
LOL.

Pirate Monkey's Harry Potter Personality Quiz
Harry Potter Personality Quiz
by Pirate Monkeys Inc.

well...
16. You'd rather be...
overly-analytical
overly-emotional

take a guess which one i chose. *cough*

this's the explanation...
This type of personality test uses four indexes of personality and the combination of the four is your personality type. The first index relates to how you interact with other people and can be Extroverted (E), meaning you're more outgoing or Introverted (I), meaning you keep more to yourself. The second relates to how you make decisions; whether you're Intuitive (N), getting answers from within, or you rely on Sensing (S) information from your surroundings, using your five senses. The third relates to whether you're more emotional and Feeling (F) or rational and Thinking (T). The fourth relates to whether you prefer things to be organized, meaning you're Judging (J), or you prefer things to be more unbound, meaning you're Perceiving (P).

hey look, lucy and i match except for 1 letter...meaning dumbledore and snape personality differs by one letter. o_O
and lucy? decisive? since when? *cough*

..same result. Interesting.

And the questions weren't those really obvious ones (aka not "Would you rather play Quidditch or read a book?" *rolls eyes*).

About Janson, she was saying how she is related to past bloodthirsty rulers of Scotland or something. *cough* It's not that hard to believe.
more notes on physio. janson seems to enjoy grossing out her students.

psychologically inactive.

ah yes, we're still collecting physio jokes right? so the most recent joke is the necessity for all the physio students to gather on the days when the grades come out to dicuss and try to figure out just exactly how the teacher graded the stuff, which, as it happens, presented itself to be an intriguing mystery.

sarcasm has a kind of eloquence to it.

there's also always the joke of the "you're doing just fine" when the class average is x_x.

i'm going to call that number 2. i'm naming all the very popular lines that the teachers frequently give to students.

#1. don't-worry-it-will-be-fine (especially common when the said teacher has lost a paper of yours.
#2. mentioned above.
#3. in honor of deborah blau, is the "yes-yes" with a smile.

You have the Vermeer girl look. A Vermeer girl
appealed mostly to the old masters of the Dutch
school, who painted pictures of everyday life
as they knew it. With her fine, fair skin, she
suited a light, natural, dewy make-up. The
Vermeer Girl loved homely things, such as
homemade soaps and candles. The following
artists would have liked to paint you; Pieter
de Hooch and Jan Vermeer.

Ok, so THIS SUNDAY AT AROUND 3 PM. Who's interested?

You have the Goya girl look. A Goya girl had an air
of extreme elegance and sophistication. They
liked richness of every kind. The artists
excelled in painting brocades and tapestry,

black lace. You could have modeled for the
great Spanish painters, such as Valasquez and
Goya. Both were painters to the royal court of
Spain.

Finally!! A quiz I can pass!!

um, merry christmas?

[sorry i'm confused about the multiple-christmas thing O_o]

Thursday, January 06, 2005

in other news...

Armenian Christmas today.
Russian Christmas tomorrow.

I understand the separation of Church and State. But not the separation of Churches.

output nodes for two

...with all due respect, of course.

today's joke is about physio and the microscopes and slide usage. i went up to ms janson to ask for slides and she asked me which one. i told her any is fine since we're doing a practice and she insisted that pick one and even went away to answer someone else's question to give me time to think about the slide i want. (or i hope that's why she suddenly left me standing in front of her desk to do something else because otherwise that'd very rude). and so it was squamous. and no, she has to be very very specific. it has to be simple squamous.

pardon my venting, it needs to be done.

I know I know I know!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE career shadow which is completely useless because i am never going to go into a medical profession plus it's a stupid idea anyway coz what kind of a thing is that to do to go and watch a doctor and his/her patient thats a private thing and whatever i bet me not using punctuation is driving you nuts but that project drove/is driving me nuts (since theres another one next semester) so I dont care and at least i used parenthesis and HA. There.

Oh and the last time someone but me or Susan posted here was Dec 23. Please tell me other people still *read* it. Bye.

p.s. If you're not in physio you can still complain about janson, science, school, life, etc. :P

horribly bad physio moments

i'm going to collect all the horrible physio moments/its jokes. maybe compile it into a book at the end of the year. if you remember anything, please help.

current moments.

horrible horrible bone models. and the posters. and the notecards. without a clear direction of what we're suppose to do.

horrible horrible boardgame that we started and never did and don't anyone dare to remind her of it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hehe, guess what! We managed to connect to Russian Television online and I recorded the New Years Concert thing!!!! (if you're russian u know what i'm talking about. hopefully.).
=) Have a good one guys =)

happy new years eve!

okay, so maybe it's morning and 12 hours away from the actual "eve" part of new year's eve but we can go ahead a little right? i mean, if we work at the time difference it should be new year's in some part of world right now.

another year past...
any new resolutions?

hm. you know what i realized? if you post your resolution here you'd have a whole horde of people (okay that's exaggerating but you know what i mean) that you see everyday bugging you about your resolution.
so i suppose if anyone is really masochistic about keeping a resolution this will be the solution.
pun unintended.

happy new years everyone. there's a light out for each one of you.

cheers.

not strictly true

i am not the only one who reads this lucy...it just happens i'm one of the only ones who posts even though i may not have terribly interesting or intelligent things to say.

meanwhile, for everyone else who's reading this---hi everyone! *waves* hope you had a good vacation!

i have, lucy, an idea of why your personality is the "exploration type". hint-- it has to do with the compass.
*grin*

another year is coming. time marches on.
to quote garfield: "come back!!"
[that, by the way, is his response to the statement "time marches on]

fine, i'll post again! though susan's probably the only one who still reads this thing

How Many Women Are Like You?
This chart compares the percentage of women with your personality type, or a similar one, with women who have dissimilar or opposite personality types

Exactly Like you (6%)
Very much like you (8%)
Similar (26%)
Dissimilar (52%)
Opposite (8%)

I just thought it was funny how 50+% of women are "dissimilar" to me.

Anyway, so this was a Yahoo Personals personality/love type quiz thing.

Apparently I am a..

Your Personality Type:
Explorer
Finding your way without a compass.
Like all Explorers, you're driven in life by a restless dissatisfaction and longing for something more.
(it goes on and on)

Your Love Style:
Romantic
You want and expect it all—a lasting connection with someone on every level—mental, emotional, sexual, and spiritual.
True Romantics like you are pretty rare. You have a good imagination, which allows you to visualize the type of man you could fall in love with.
(yada yada yada)

Your Biggest Challenge Is:
How do you tolerate uncertainty?

(haha!)

*hugs her friends*

Thank you all so much!
I know Christmas shouldn't be about presents, but I do the rest of the Christmas stuff all year long (like spending time with my family and friends and appreciating them), so unfortunately presents are a large part of Christmas.

Also unfortunately grown-ups have no idea (like no idea) what to get me to make me happy, so yes without YOU GUYS I wouldn't have had a single present that really made me smile. *sigh* I think I'll ask them next year not to get me anything, because that's better than the disappointment of the 'presents'.

Victoria, party?........

Anna, Malvina- poster?......

Happy Holidays =)

thank you notes

a direct copy of what i have in my blog since i don't know how many people here have links to it.=p

i opened all my presents this morning, so here comes the thank-yous:

kate, i''m going to address you first because your present happened to be the first i opened. thank you for the hard-covered book! i had it on my desk and i kept on thinking that i should return it to the library because it looked like a library book so i thought to prevent myself from making this little accident i should probably put on my book shelf instead. *cough* susan and her mistakes. i read the snow queen already...and i've actually seen the story before somewhere, just a vague notion of it. i find the demon-glass idea very interesting... [story plots forthcoming! lol]

malvina, you're next even though i'm not sure if you still read this or not so i probably should post a copy of this in the group blog. i admired the bookmark thing right after opening kate's book and i stuck it in the book where it still is. bookmark evolution...they get more modern as we go, don't they?

victoria, i didn't open your presents for the right reason. i mean "scientific purposes" sounds great and all...but taking it apart so we can see if the bone model'd fit in the box just doesn'tseem like what should be done for a present. ah well, i'll do my best to erase that from their...er...memory. silver's a cool color, isn't it? thanks for picking it out...flowers and all.

lusine...well i sort of opened it on your request but thanks! the windchime is great (even though my mom thinks i'll make it into a healthy hazard) even though i daren't to hang it outside because of my crazy neighbor who...nevermind. and as for the book...for the cover, i suggest flipping to the week of april 11-17 in your agenda. as for the actual content of the book...it may not consist of life, the universe and everything, but it did cover most of life. thank you!

anna, i just opened your present this morning. you know, i was thinking of ink when i opened it so the shape rather took me by surprise first. *cough* lol. but it's so PRETTY! *grin* well now you know what will happen to all your pictures when i request a new one every year. it holds up to...60? i think. i stuck the picture of your cat on the cover. a little reminder of anna's furry little problem with gift-wrapping. ^^

kateryna--sorry i can't stop laughing--the frog--it makes me laugh. probably because i just spent the past hour analyzing fairytales. maybe someone ought to kiss it? lol! [psst, it's stuffed! stuffed! nvm. bad lit jokes have no place in a day like this.]

thanks for the food, christine. ^^ and another mystery for susan to ponder over--how did they make the candy that way? i bet i can study it for longer than 4 hours. *cough cough* but that will be waaay too geeky, yes? so maybe i'll just eat it. lol.

thank you, everyone! and merry christmas!

^^

hehe I know it doesn't look real enough, but I still had fun doing this, and that's what counts, right? =)

You must teach me how to make realistic hair colorings! :D

p.s. FORGET about New Year. There is o.ooooo1% chance of me not spending it with my family.

*sigh*

lusine...1st of all i can tell the picture's been pixellated, meaning that someone's messed around with it
2nd of all the hair's brownish, not blonde
3rd of all, there's a more realistic looking way to change colors in photoshop, even to green and blue.

now the question is, why would i even tell you that?

and lastly, i also remember you comments about you with blonde hair and know you probably wouldn't willingly turn your hair (to a permanent shade of) blonde.

nice try though.
*grin*.

Thursday, December 23, 2004

look!

I dyed my hair blonde!

*cough* Just kidding =)

I scared you for a moment there, didn't I Susan?
Photoshop is way cool. But I haven't yet figured out how to make believable blue hair. Or green.

hmm a number of things. read on.

first off, my break is a break in terms that i havent done much hw, but it's not a break coz I have 4+ projects looming over my head mercilessly and not letting me sleep at night (actually I sleep quite well and for long hours, but figuratively speaking they don't let me sleep at night ;).

Now about the party. You know I thought it'd be really cool to meet the new years together. Somehow. Now I know that most of the parents (including mine) won't be very happy about their kids not being home past midnight, but if we can come up with something more or less reasonable.. (no, i don't have any ideas >.<), it might work out (hey, we did get to have a sleepover).

Also the San Jose open skating rink is closing on Dec 31. I know Kate really wanted to go, and I wouldn't mind myself.

there's also victoria's party. And I know that a lot of us can't afford 3 days of partying, so maybe somehow we can combine the skating, the victoria (heh) and the new years?

Any ideas?

FOOD!

Heheh. I found out today that I got the s'mores maker I asked for...because it came in the mail. Then I wrapped it for myself. =) So yeah, if we have a party I can bring it and we can make smores!
Other than that, I have no ideas.

hello

how is everyone?

i should probably be typing this up in an email because of the format and all but hey, what's a blog for? besides posting random quiz results and annoucements i mean. *cough*

how's the "break" going? is anyone really getting a "break"? anything interesting?

kate and i discussed about making a movie about my current live and we agreed that people would get bored to death watching it and then it'd be considered a lethal weapon and then i'd get arrested. lol. so that sums up my existence.

yours?

Wednesday, December 22, 2004

I check this.. more than once a day

Hey, I am good at procrastinating, ok? OK?!

Er, anyway, an email is a good idea, except I must warn you that hardly anyone answers those kinds of emails that I send.

*COUGH*
i read this thing. daily, almost.

hmm...and i like the make food idea...but maybe it's just me. next week is fine. so long it's the week days. then again, during the weekdays i don't have a ride. o_O

and i don't have baking powder.

Monday, December 20, 2004

purple and seeeeeelver

sure, i'm always up for a party ;)
the date should probably be next week.
i dont really have an idea of what to do. did u mention video games?...

p.s.
OMGOMGOMG

Sunday, December 19, 2004

actually ;P

i am keeping 5 presents till xmas. they're from family friends and stuff.
me rejected by stanford too!

end of another messy business. yay!

i haven't opened all of my presents yet still...waiting for christmas.
lol. lucy, i think i can put more than "2" for my patience.

Saturday, December 18, 2004

yes, thank you everyone for your presents!

also, susan asked for college info to be posted here, so here you go- got my rejection from stanford today (they were nice enough not to use the word 'reject' though). Either way, I'm having a bad day because I woke up SICK! grrrr But guess what- waking up sick wasn't as bad as it normally would be coz i woke up to face Anna's SPONGEBOB ALARM CLOCK! =D And throughout the day Kate's wonderful CALVIN AND HOBBES BOOK kept me entertained and made me forget that I was sick ^^ I haven't read Malvina's POETRY BOOK yet, but knowing Dickinson, I know it'll come in useful when I'm feeling poetic =)

Kateryna's beautiful WATCH and Victoria's COOL EARRINGS are getting comfy in my jewelry box, waiting for a day when I decide to try to look pretty (the key word is 'try').

Susan, your presents are feeling very welcome in my room too :) The LETTER is standing proudly next to my HP books, the KEY is gracing my nightstand thingy, and the GOOD LUCK POTION is dangling on my key chain ^^

Also, of course, thanks for the pretty cards which will go into my spongebob notebook, and for for the various kinds of candy I got which will go into my STOMACH! :D

Thank you and good night.

-Edit-
I was making a wallpaper as an experiment and ended up with this...
~ HERE IT IS ~It's so big that it messes up the site.

a couple little things

1. should we promise to post our college results here? all the way through may till when we decide where we're going to?

2. i have a layout ready for this blog. i'll change it on new year's day. please let me know if you want a link to your site/journal/email/xanga here, just say yes or no.

3. are we having a sleep over during winter break?

and not sure about the ice-skating idea, lucy. have to depend on the time and stuff.

XMAS BREAK

mr morse wasn't there! oh, woe is me, i got to come home before 12 ;P Hehe (need to go back for bones tho). So anyway, I was gonna suggest ice-skating at San Jose open rink? Yea? Yea? =)
CHRISTMAS TOMORROW (well, sort of).

Tuesday, December 14, 2004

i got the same result for victoria. just thought you'd like to know. ^^

Monday, December 13, 2004

i like susan's idea

since victoria never seems to take those quizzes, i did it for her ;P
I sort of got close =)

You Are a Retrospective Soul

The most misunderstood of all the soul signs.
Sometimes you even have difficulty seeing yourself as who you are.
You are intense and desire perfection in every facet of your life.
You're best described as extremely idealistic, hardworking, and a survivor.

Great moments of insight and sensitivity come to you easily.
But if you aren't careful, you'll ignore these moments and repeat past mistakes.
For you, it is difficult to seperate the past from the present.
You will suceed once you overcome the disappoinments in life.

Souls you are most compatible with: Traveler Soul and Prophet Soul

here's an idea

instead of taking the quiz just for yourself (assume that you know yourself quite well), let also take the quiz for the other people in this blog who'd taken the quiz!

this what i got for lucy... for the number one:

You Are the Enthusiast

7

You are outgoing and playful - always seeing the happy side to life.

You're enthusiastic and excitable. You love anything new.

Multi-talented, you do many things well... and find success easy.

You prefer to keep things light with others. Opening up is hard for you.

this is what i got for myself for the quiz taken from lucy's xanga:

You Are a Seeker Soul

You are on a quest for knowledge and life challenges.
You love to be curious and ask a ton of questions.
Since you know so much, you make for an interesting conversationalist.
Mentally alert, you can outwit almost anyone (and have fun doing it!).

Very introspective, you can be silently critical of others.
And your quiet nature makes it difficult for people to get to know you.
You see yourself as a philosopher, and you take everything philosophically.
Your main talent is expressing and communicating ideas.

Souls you are most compatible with: Hunter Soul and Visionary Soul

this is what i got for lucy:

You Are a Dreaming Soul

Your vivid emotions and imagination takes you awy from this world
So much so that you tend to live in your head most of the time
You have great dreams and ambitions that could be the envy of all...
But for you, following through with your dreams is a bit difficult

You are charming, endearing, and people tend to love you.
Forgiving and tolerant, you see the world through rose colored glasses.
Underneath it all, you have a ton of passion that you hide from others.
Always hopeful, you tend to expect positive outcomes in your life.

Souls you are most compatible with: Newborn Soul, Prophet Soul, and Traveler Soul

can you see that i have less homework today?
*cough*

Sunday, December 12, 2004

i always found the "you're gonna change the world" part a bit scary

You Are the Investigator
5

You're independent - and a logical analytical thinker.
You love learning and ideas... and know things no one else does.
Bored by small talk, you refuse to participate in boring conversations.
You are open minded. A visionary. You understand the world and may change it.

~50% true

You Are the Enthusiast

7

You are outgoing and playful - always seeing the happy side to life.

You're enthusiastic and excitable. You love anything new.

Multi-talented, you do many things well... and find success easy.

You prefer to keep things light with others. Opening up is hard for you.

Saturday, December 11, 2004

lucy as a nagivator? o_O

i had problem deciding on this one...for instance, what if i like science, but i also draw on my freetime, as well as write? not like i can pick all three options...

Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence

You are excellent with words and language. You explain yourself well.
An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly.
You are also good at remembering information and convicing someone of your point of view.
A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary.

You would make a fantastic poet, journalist, writer, teacher, lawyer, politician, or translator.

Friday, December 10, 2004

blargh

Your Dominant Intelligence is Spatial Intelligence

You've got a good sense of space and how the world around you looks.
You can close your eyes and "see" images. You have innate artistic talent.
An eye for color and shapes, you're also a natural designer.
Since you think in pictures, visual aids and demonstartions help you learn best.

You would make a good navigator, sculptor, visual artist, inventor, architect, interior designer, or engineer.

p.s. So you called, Anna?...
we understand, anna.
beside, you can always make up for the wrapping by placing a picture of your cat on top because she's so cute. ^^

*note- remove cat from under the picture. lol
I'm sorry, you guys, but this is why all your christmas presents will be poorly wrapped this year...click

lame christmas jokes!

this joke is, even by my standards, incredibly lame! ;P But I thought the russians here and *cough* christmas song *couugh* appreciaters might find it funny.

"Big Red"
A Russian couple were walking down a street in Moscow one night when the man felt a drop hit his nose.
"I think it's raining," he said to his wife.
"No that felt like snow to me, dear," she replied.
"No I'm sure it was just rain," he said. They were about to have a major argument about whether it was raining or snowing. Just then, they saw a minor communist party official walking towards them.
"Let's not fight about it," the man said. "Let's ask Comrade Rudolph whether its officially raining or snowing." As the man approached the husband said:
"Tell us, Comrade Rudolph, is it raining or snowing?"
"It's raining, of course" he replied and walked on. But the woman insisted.
"I know that felt like snow!"
To which the man quietly said, "Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear."

-Accessories (belts! and scarves!)
-PRETTY stationery (nothing tacky)
-Anything cool that I can hang up or display in my room
-Gift certificates

DON'T WANT:
-Anything ridiculously expensive, because then I feel bad since I'm on a tight budget this year
-Practical stuff, like Kate said

merry christmas to you too victoria

lol. in other words, for lucy, get her almost anything sponge-bob/hp related that she doesn't already have. and no i'm not worried about someone getting her the same thing as me. O_-

i mentioned something about windchimes, but victoria grumbles so much abou it o_O.what's wrong with windchimes?! i know what most people are getting me already anyway^^. for future reference, i also like tennyson poems. just the normal ones though, not the horrifying long sagas.
meanwhile, what i don't want...
  • make up (likewise, we're not a very covergirl oriented group)
  • anything bright pink (my mom overkilled it when i was little, trust me)
  • blank notebooks (i have too many now 0_o)
  • spongebob related stuff (if you know me, this is self-explanatory)

actually that's it... contrary to the fact that people think i'm "hard" to shop for, i'm not that picky. and if you're insistant on asking what exactly i want for christmas *cough cough* i'm likely to ask for weird things.

yes that means that i'd even accept artificial fruits and flowers...provided they come from people in this blog.

and so this is christmas

i will try to think of the things that I don't want.

*starts thinking*
  • well, makeup, but i don't think anyone was planning on getting that anyway.
  • jewelry (except cool earrings)
  • food
  • photo albums (we have a big fat one that needs to be filled up)
  • ordinary stationary (as in 150 pieces of paper or pencil lead)
  • purses (I now officially have enough)
  • clothing (unless its something you think would make a really good present for me). And by clothing I mean the 'big' stuff like shirts, pants, jackets. (Cool/weird socks, gloves, hats are not 'big' clothing =)
  • no scented candels. no scented anything.. i rarely like any of those smells.
  • no artificial fruits or flowers

haha ok, i'm getting random, which means i ran out of ideas. otherwise, if you're really having trouble with me, i like cute, funny, and fascinating stuff =) In other words, that junk that your parents won't let you spend money on, so you hope that someone will get it for you for christmas. no, i don't have anything specific in mind.

it's THE blog!

come, come, and sit you down
you shall not budge
you go not till...
*cough*

Once upon a time there was a snail who had finally escaped the confinement of its evil taskmaster. The snail left the house and went into the garden, where there are a lot of roses. The snail climbed on a rose, hid under a leaf, and was prepared to sigh with relief and catch up on a little nap before it was rudely knocked down by a large window, which a girl had thrown down so she can escape out of it by climbing down the rose bushes in front of her house.

*grin* guess who?
feel free to continue the story...

i'm looking...

i like parties and politics? o_O !

liberalism...

You Are a New School Democrat

You like partying and politics - and are likely to be young and affluent.

You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats.

Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book.

You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves.

Saturday, November 27, 2004

would ya look at that

You Are a Liberal Republican

When you tell people that you're Republican, they rarely believe you.

That's because you're socially liberal - likely pro-choice and pro-gay rights.

You're also not so afraid of big goverment, as long as it benefits people and not politicians.

You are the most likely of any Republican type to swing over to the Democrat side sometimes.

I guess this relects that I'm usually in the middle of things and rarely in extremes.

happy the day after thanksgiving

thanks everyone, for a crazy (but fun) day. ^_^

Thursday, November 25, 2004

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!

susan, i just wanted to say that i can't comment on your blog posts for some reason. when i click on comments it takes me to a blog page that says the url could not be found or something, maybe it's the new layout's fault?

anyways, for the lecture thingies I think i wanna go to the cosmos one :)

alright

i'm pretty sure i can bring a six can of soda. safeway select.

victoria's xanga is scary. O_o violent tendencies? it took me a few seconds to process what it was and a few more to come to terms with the word "yummy" beside it. "only victoria..." ...agreed. o_-

Wednesday, November 24, 2004

ok, since..

..some ppl were asking me what to bring, i decided to put this here-
I am apparently low on sodas and stuff. so if there's any drinks you like, you can bring that. I have a couple of cans of pepsi (caffein-free, i think)

all right, see you guys friday. yes, 10 am. you won't be penalized for being late. not too severely anyway ;)

erk

to lucy:
*cough* i knew it was victoria who was paranoid and i knew it was about the mad cow disease [all the bio classes had the same set of topics last year to study for], hence my semi-joking become-a-vegetarian thing. the "why hotdog" was meant more as a "why not sandwiches or burgers" sort of question, but it's fine.

i'm bringing fantasia. and cookies. and we're meeting at lucy's place at 10 00am on friday? yes?

by the way, i've started posting again in my blog. just thought you'd like to know.

Tuesday, November 23, 2004

to susan

i don't care if it's beef or chicken, but victoria's been paranoid since last year remember? (well, she's been paranoid since birth. i meant paranoid about mad cow disease ;P ). And there's only one kind of hot dog, the onther one u described is "corn dogs".
and it changed from pizza because pizza's just so.. well, overused i guess. Kate wanted something different, and I agreed.

dogs

to ashley:
you can't "add on" per se to other people's posts unless you're an administrator, you have to make a new post. you can add comments to posts i suppose if we allow it and if i go and change the current layout so it's comment-compatible.
should i? (just don't expect me to do it today or tomorrow).

to lucy:
why hotdogs? (first of all, i forgot why it's "dogs" again). and chicken? they may have mad cow disease but just last year the fowls have developed this weird disease too and the fishes have pollution problems and so if you want to be very very safe i suggest becoming a vegetarian.
digressions. anyway what i started out meaning to ask was is the hotdogs going to be hotdog as in sausage-between-a-folded-bit-of-bread or is it going to be hotdog as in sausage-dipped-in-batter-on-a-stick.

by the way, don't hold me up on the vegetarian thing. they use hormone and chemical fertilizers and i don't know exactly what kind. O_- geeky yes?

Monday, November 22, 2004

changes

main food has been changed to hot dogs (don't worry vicotoria, it'll be chicken) and corn. we'll grill both. sounds more fun than pizza, no?

go check your emails NOW

hehe, i just sent a big fat email concerning movie day. GO READ IT.

: [

aw, susan, i'm really sorry : [
I didn't expect you to give up now, when it's almost over! But I guess you realized that you're not going to finish..
You know, you could always put in what you already have, since you weren't making changes that big anyway, and then you can still revise it. I dunno, it's your work and your decision.

erk

taken from my ptc blog:

Okay, I have concluded that I must drop at least one of my five on going projects or suffer from a nervous breakdown. This occured to me yesterday because I got sick and I felt so tired and stressed that I wanted to cry. So, I am going to drop out of the NaNoWriMo, and hopefully recover enough so I don't botch up all five of my projects.

The choice, then, is whether or not I should delete this blog and finish my story on my own, or continue to update the story at my own speed.

>_< yep i gave up on that. maybe i'll try another year when i'm not doing so many things at the same time. too many looming deadlines!!! arg!

meanwhile, this means i'll be updating my own blog again...as soon as i recover enough. [mass cramming the next two days to stay on schedule] -_-'

Saturday, November 20, 2004

hmm

ashley, can you read this right now?

no food preference really. except i should mention that i went to safeway with my mother today and saw malvina there! i got two packages of cookies for movies' day. that's for sweets.

i don't exactly have any videos either.

Friday, November 19, 2004

:)

yea, i was gonna suggest inviting ashley myself :]

..asking for the last time, any food preferences?

as promised..

as promised, i am making a post here to let anna know that i have recieved a notice (small postcard) from stanford which said that they have recieved all my app stuff.

to quote mr.a: "happy?"

three posts in a row. erk.

?

why's it that everyone'd stopped posting?

Tuesday, November 16, 2004

^^

yay for treasure planet! it's very rare that susan actually says she wants to watch something and then watchs it within the same year.

as for the blog... IT'S ALIVE! [insert zombie music here]

i can bring something sweet, but i'll check first this weekend when my parent goes grocery shopping. as for the "formal" food yeah it's a good idea to have finger food ...like hotdogs or sandwiches *cough*. we should start a sign up list this weekend, in this blog, as a list to see who's bringing what so we won't end up bringing the same things.

Monday, November 15, 2004

BOUNCE

*sheds a tear of happiness* I'm so *sob* so *sob* proud *sob*! So many *sob* posts in one day! The blog is coming back to life :)
Ok, I agree about the Treasure Planet. The next step is seeing if anybody actually own any of those movies. Yes? No? I know I don't so sorry, but if we run out of things to watch I can always dig out something old and not necessarily too exciting, but watchable. Right-o.

About food- no, I don't want any contribution in terms of the "main dish" (if you can call it that). We still didn't decide what it is going to be tho.. Seems like most ppl will be happy with the pizza though. Plus with the hot dogs, Malvina's kind of singled out, soo.. I can also get cake, unless somebody else is. *grin*

nice to see my chinese lineage coming through...

*cough*

Confucius
You were Confucius!

Your life began in 551 B.C. in the
Chinese village of Zou. You worked as a
teacher until age 35, when you became advisor
to the exiled Duke Zhou for a time. Later you
became a magistrate and even the Grand Minister
of Justice of Lu Province for a time. After a
while, you took to wandering with your handful
of disciples and unfortunately found that
high-ranking nobles in many courts were
plotting to have you killed. You continued,
however, to speak on morality and honesty until
you finally retired and spent your remaining
days writing. You died at the age of
72.

funny quiz

HASH(0x89a92b0)
You were Gandhi!

You led a life of non-violent and
highly effective protest. People were in awe
of your example and followed it. Because of
your actions, the nation of India won its
independence from the mighty British Empire
without ever firing a single shot.
Unfortunately, your life came to a sudden and
violent end when an assassin shot you in 1948.
The nation, indeed the world, mourned your
passing.
