ooopss..

Yeah, sorry. I forgot to make a formal announcement.
Our movie day/birthday thing is TOMORROW (Feb 25) @ my house (ask me if you need my address) at 10:30. You don't have to bring food unless you want to. I was planning on calling and reminding people anyway.

math: rated R!

a math romance
They integrated from the very point of origin. Her curves were continuous, and even though he was odd, he was a real number. The day their lines first intersected, they became an ordered pair. From then on it was a continuous function. They were both in their prime, so in next to no time they were horizontal and parallel. She was awed by the magnitude of his perpendicular line, and he was amazed by her conical projections. "Bisect my angle!" she postulated each time she reached her local maximum. He taught her the chain rule as she implicitly defined the amplitude of his simple harmonic motion. They underwent multiple rotations of their axes, until at last they reached the vertex, the critical point, their finite limit. After that they slept like logs. Later she found him taking a right-handed limit, that was a problem, because it was an improper form. He meanwhile had realized that she was irrational, not to mention square. She approached her ex, so they diverged.

valentines

don't worry, lucy, asian parents also have a tendency to go from "beware of all guys" to "do you have boyfriend yet" in less than 3 years. with no transition time.

hope you feel better soon, malvina.

happy valentines everyone.

valentine's day

entertaining mondays don't happen often, so thanks for this one, everybody.

Victoria, my mom thought the balloon was from a guy and was disappointed to find out otherwise. xD

hugs for everyone!

thanks, susan :) it's nice to know that there are those who care about our well-being no matter what ^^
blogger is slightly weird today, but on the other hand, i think it may be my internet connection that's slightly off [yes even compared to the normal].

i'm addressing this post to everyone who's a part of lunatics...er...who considers themselve a part of lunatics.

hello everyone,

this year is turning out to be stressful after all...and i know everyone is having all kinds of problems and are struggling to deal with them the best they can (or are just simply trying to get them under control). there is not as much time this year to spent on as many things as we'd like and everyone is feeling the strain of the moment.

my point? not sure, just to let people know that there're sympathetic people (who, even if they can't understand, will try anyway) out there. more specifically, here. if i've made one person who's reading this feel somewhat better/warm and fuzzy (and, failing that, just fuzzily confused), then i've accomplished something.

oh yes, happy friday and the best of luck in everything!

taken from my li'l green notebook that has been getting far too much attention lately:

once upon a time in a far away land there lived a boy named Bob who kept his pet in a large garbage container. it liked noodles because it never tasted anything else before.

more quizzes, yay..

You scored as Emerald. Positive yet caring, sensitive and simply divine, emerald-types have the qualities of a perfect friend. They value loyalty and inner contentment, and have time to stand by and listen when someone has a hardship to face. They also seem to have a good memory aswell, as it is something the gems themselves promote.
