I got the exact same ones as Malvina

Oh wow, that is like the girl from the book! She's in my essay ^^
for the element quiz i got the same as lucy. for the other one...

HASH(0x8865530)
You are the Goddess of Water. You are a very
tanqul and down to earth person. Chances are
you like pondering the mysteries of life. You
are never extremely happy, but always perfectly
content or twords the depressed side. You
hardly let anyone see all of you, but you let
them catch little glimpses of the true you.
People respect you greatly and this is good,
but it also makes it hard for you to find
someone you can just be yourself and laugh
with. You feel that you don't need love, but
you are happy when you're in love. What you
really need in a guy is someone who will like
you when he sees all of you, and will luagh
with you and discuss the mysteries of life.
You are a very sweet and differant kind of
person and we need more people like you in the
world, just remember to let people see your
funny side too.

Hmmm I do NOT like Shakespear. HEY! I JUST NOTICED THAT I GOT 'NIGHT' FOR BOTH OF THOSE. Hm.

HASH(0x8adf1b4)
You are the Goddess of Night. You are much
differant than the Goddess of Darkness, you are
beautiful and full of passion and life, but you
often stay locked inside yourself. Chances are
that you're a poet or other artist, and create
beautiful works. Some people are drawn to you
and others percieve you as a freak, but don't
listen to what others have to say, just listen
to yourself. You have a passion for words and
chances are you love Shakespere and the like.
You want to surround yourself with people who
accept but often feel like nobody likes you,
but remember that's not true, and you have a
lot to offer, just believe in yourself. As for
love, you are either too trusting or you trust
no one. Guys are stupid, unless you find one
that will see you for who you really are and
not how others percieve you. You tend to
either one extreme or the other, hardley ever
in the middle. Just listen to yourself and you
will go far. Rock On

night
You're Element is Night. You're a loner who is very
creative but never show your work to anyone.
You may smile a little but sadness or
loneliness surround you and other can feel it
when they're near you. You have a dark or
unusual beauty that makes you mysterious and
you probably have a lot of secrets that you've
never told anyone. You're beauty is intriging
and unorthidox but the real thing that makes
you special is your eyes. Something in them
makes them like "Diamonds in the
Rough."

You're Egypt!

Curator of ancient mystical secrets, your life on the surface is fairly
typical these days.  Though you are in denial about more things than most people.
Nevertheless, you're trying to convince people that you're safe despite your more
volatile and unstable times that seem to be behind you.  You like cats a whole lot.
You'd probably really appreciate The Blue
Pyramid.

Dear Anna,
I see that your house is bigger than mine. May the pretzels stay with you. And yes, it is now the opportune moment to laugh.
But seriously, guys, it was very fun (even though we all missed Victoria!).
Anna's cat is very cool (it bit me! how exciting). Now I'm sitting here soooo full of junk food (I haven't had this much junk food since er well in a long time!). Screw homework, I'll do it tomorrow and won't let it ruin today :D

...and we're back to quiz-taking

You are the silver moonlight. You have a deep soul.
Many people call you mysterious but they just
don't know you. You are often alone but shine
hope on every one else. People look up to you
and call to you for advice. You have been
betrayed but you have forgaven them. Your faith
in life has made you an inspiration to us all.
You are intelligent, quiet, beautiful, and
kind. You will become very sucessful. Your
dream career could maybe deal with the joy of
music. Keep up the spirit and let your mind
drift to the shining hope of the silver moon.

erm...

You are the green moon. It is down to Earth and
reliable. You appretiate real beauty and truth.
Your heart calls to you when you witness your
own light shining through the surface. People
call you strange but you put it in song. Your
dream job could consist of writing, a teacher,
or maybe a muscican. The green light symbolices
friendship. You take a while to forgive, but
people tell you secrets. You are often a pillar
seeked to lean on. Your heart fears death but
your mind fears fear. You dream of love, but
are not very open with it. You have trouble
taking a stand, but once you see the warmth of
green, your tenseness lights up and you are as
fun as a baby puppy.

Just thought I'd share (I know Malvina will like this)

At New York 's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher, was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a setsquare, a slide rule and a calculator. U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He is being charged with carrying weapons of math instruction. "Al-gebra is a very fearsome cult, indeed", Ashcroft said. "They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on a tangent in search of absolute value. They consist of quite shadowy figures, with names like "x" and "y", and, although they are frequently referred to as "unknowns", we know they really belong to a common denominator and are part of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country." "As the great Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, there are 3 sides to every triangle." When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes".

WOOHOO!

ALMOST THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYA ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT!
Of course, Thursday night is going to be h-e-l-l but that's entirely beside the point! and the point of this post is-

I think a movie day deserves a TV better than mine...

Of course, we'll watch Johnny English. Hey, Kate, we'll make a list of movies and you rent them and then we can divide the money, coz otherwise it isn't fair. So, um, would u mind getting "Rat Race"? I'll bring the HP movies [unless the owner of the house has them], and Spaceballs.
OK, THE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE THURSDAY, FEB 19. EVERYBODY, PLEASE TRY TO BE ENTIRELY FREE THAT DAY SO WE CAN SERIOUSLY SPENT MOST PART OF THE DAY TOGETHER! :DDDD
It's down to Anna and Victoria. We'll decide the time later, but it should probly be somewhere around 11 am. Agreed?
Food:
Edible stuff. And by edible I don't mean seaweed. Eh =P
I'll try to be creative with the food I bring.

p.s. Let's not watch "Remember the Titans"... I won't deny that it's a good movie, but it's quite depressing+beside everything else it's also about football. Sorry, Kate! We wanna have fun this day, not watch good-quality stuff ;]]
My house is good too, on any day =) only I don't have lots of good food because I ate it all already so everyone is going to have to bring foooOOd. I'll provide the popcorn.
metaphors metaphores? anyway. the history book seemed to include weirder ones lately. it was funny. it was odd. it was apush.

anybody who CAN'T make it on friday, the 20th?

Malvina told me that she's not gonna be here the entire week, so she's not coming.

Saturday, February 07, 2004

in case any of u are going crazy over college-related questions like I do..

ArmenianLuna: r u allowed to choose roommates in college?
Azuvillage: oh in ucd, you can choose your own and tell the office people that you want this roommate
Azuvillage: but otherwise
Azuvillage: they do rottery
Azuvillage: it's totally depending on luck
ArmenianLuna: wait, what do u mean otherwise
ArmenianLuna: like in other colleges?
Azuvillage: if you know somebody who is going to your college with you, you can choose her as your roommate
Azuvillage: but you know most of the ppl don't really know many ppl
ArmenianLuna: yeah
Azuvillage: everybody i know in davis just let the office ppl to choose their roommate
Azuvillage: or you can choose a single room
ArmenianLuna: really?
ArmenianLuna: is that limited or cost a lot?
Azuvillage: yeah a bit more expensive though
ArmenianLuna: oh i see
Azuvillage: my friend from hhs, she is living in a single room
Azuvillage: some ppl don't get along w/ their roommates
Azuvillage: but they can change their roommates if there is trouble
ArmenianLuna: that's good

btw

I would prefer if the movie day wasn't on the weekends, or monday and tuesday.
Kate, did u mean Friday during the break OR the 13th?

answer to susan

considering it's 8:45 right now I can almost guarantee that next saturday at this time I will be doing one of these-
a. watching tv
b. in some mall with parents.
c. online.

however, i will MOST CERTAINLY NOT be doing homework *insert big huge smile here*

plans

me. i'm okay pretty much any day except i have to keep in mind that i can only take one day off. i own- fruitsbasket (with english subtitles) and castle in the air (i think it has english subtitles but it's currently in chinese) and i have a really old casper the ghost video that is still in it's wrappers somewhere within close vicinity of the house. but that's about it. my house is okay i guess. we don't have a lot of edibles right now though but i suppose i can bother my parents into getting some if necessary.

here's a question i found, let's each responde to it.

at this time next saturday you would probably be...

my responde:
...sleeping if i have any sense in what's right with the world. but probably studying *cough* bio.
all right, we've gotta start some serious planning.
List the days you are NOT going to be busy during the break.
Tell if we could gather at your house + any good movies that you might have in posessions so we'll figure out what to rent and what not.

As for me, I could volunteer my house, but be prepared for a small and ugly tv. I think I'm not going anywhere during the break. I hardly have any movies. Here's the list: Shrek [well, we watched that], Monsters Inc [too kiddy], Space Balls, and HP movies. Yes I am lame, my family doesn't believe in buying movies.

Friday, February 06, 2004

Nope

hello?

anyone here?

Wednesday, February 04, 2004

i just remembered a funny movie. i think it's called "toothless". it's about a dentist who became a hapless toothfairy and i thought i was pretty funny, but maybe i was mistaken (i was still at the ELD stage when i saw that)

Monday, February 02, 2004

Oh

I just remembered that I did see "Princess Diaries". Erm it was ok, but i dunno if i'd want to watch it for the second time. Unless, of course, we make fun of it ;)

Sunday, February 01, 2004

Hmmm

I havent heard of "the castle in the sky". I agree that we should definietly watch funny things. Here's a short list of mine-

"The Rat Race"
"Pirates of the carribean" [this has funny parts, trust moi]
"Bruce Almighty" [havent seen this, but doesnt look bad]
I have "Space Balls" if anybody wants to.
There's this awesome comedy "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist" It's a hilarious spoof of those martial-arts kind of movies. I laughed through like the whole movie, but that's just me.
"Ice Age" Ive seen this a couple of times, but if someone hasn't, it's worth watching.
"Shanghai Noon" and "Shangai Knights"[the sequel which i haven't seen]
A classical disney movie perhaps?
Doode, I can't think of nething right now, me brain is kind of dead. Well, there's always the HP movies [we can just watch some parts].
Hmmm yea ok, from Kate's list I've seen Johnny English, Atlantis, ET, Flubber, and the Holy Grail Monty Python. Hmm, I think we could skip the ones I highlighted, IF that's ok with ppl. Let's start cancelling stuff, coz otherwise we'll have 100 movies.

i got the dvd for "castle in the sky", it's the undubbed version with english subtitles.
i need to find some time to watch it.
which means it won't be any time soon.

anyone seen it before?
